Dennis C. Miller Associates, Inc., experts in nonprofit board and leadership training, hereafter referred to as DCM, warrants that it has the knowledge and expertise to provide online courses and will use all reasonable skill and care in making purchased courses available to you and in ensuring their availability. Because of the nature of the internet, errors and omissions do occur, DCM does not give any other warranties with respect to its online courses. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing your order as refunds cannot be given (see section 6 below).

    1. Registration
      All online courses are offered on a non-credit basis. As these courses are open to the general public, there are no prerequisites required. After an individual or organization registers online, they will receive an e-mail acknowledging that DCM has received and accepted the registration. Submission of registration along with full tuition payment constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
    2. Payment
      Payment in full is required at the time of registration. All course tuition is billed in U.S. dollars. Payment may be made by American Express, MasterCard, or Visa.
    3. Course Content
      DCM will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the course as outlined on the website. However, DCM reserves the right to make reasonable amendments to the content and syllabus of a course when necessary.
    4. Technology
      To ensure registrants are able to successfully participate in a DCM online course, they should have a reliable computer or other internet-capable device (such as a phone or tablet), internet access, an up-to-date web browser such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Explorer, and video/audio capability. It is the registrants’ responsibility to obtain and to maintain the proper hardware and software required to participate in the online course. When accessing the online course, the student is responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
    5. Course Cancellation
      Dennis C. Miller reserves the right to cancel courses when necessary due to unforeseeable circumstances. In this instance, all tuition and fees paid for the course will be refunded to the paying credit card. Registration should allow up to six weeks for the credit to appear on their statement.
    6. Refund Policy
      Refunds cannot be made for downloadable digital items, unless course cancellation occurs as noted in section 5.

Intellectual Property
All rights, title and interest in intellectual property rights relating to the online course including copyright, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, improvements, developments, proprietary information, know-how, processes, methods, business plans or models and all other intellectual property (whether registered or not) shall exclusively be owned by Dennis C. Miller Associates, Inc. While registrants may use the intellectual property, the user understands that there shall be no transfer of ownership of the same. Nothing that you see or read in the online course may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, transmitted, republished, displayed or performed for commercial use.
