Cultivating Courage to Lead
A strong sense of leadership, just like any talent, takes practice. Leaders are not simply born into a position of power and expected to instill wonder within their followers. Every successful leader must continually work on his or her self through mindful and courageous choices. Practicing new skills and tasks, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, and conquering your biggest fears all take a solid amount of time and effort. That’s not to say mastering the art of leadership will be an easy feat, but with the right dedication and will to better one’s self, each of us can muster up the courage we need to propel our careers toward success and overcome the common fears of leadership.
